Despite its name, "Catholic Sports Radio" is not a show that reports scores or talks about wins and losses or statistics. Instead, interviews are done with practicing Catholics who are current or former athletes, coaches, referees/umpires, clergy, administrators, and more, from the pro, amateur, and scholastic ranks. We talk about your sports life, your faith life, and hopefully the intersection of the two. This is not a show to sell your business, product, or service. This is a ministry and the aim is to serve the audience spiritually (with some entertainment from the sports side). Guests have ranged from actor Mark Wahlberg to TV personality Mario Lopez to auto racing icon Mario Andretti to the late football coaching legend Lou Holtz, alongside numerous NBA, NFL, NHL, WNBA, and MLB players, coaches, and referees. This is an audio-only podcast that is recorded, edited, and released at a later date. In other words, no video, and not live.
